Tom Huddlestone ended his two-year wait for a haircut after scoring his first goal in 54 games in the six goal demolition of struggling Fulham.
The Hull midfielder, who turned 27 today, had refused to cut his hair after making a charity pledge in 2011 not to visit the barbers until after his next goal.
Huddlestone had gone 54 games before he fired a left-footed shot past Fulham keeper David Stockdale at the KC Stadium on Saturday.
Hull had opened the scoring through Ahmed Elmohamady's 49th minute strike and Robert Koren doubled their advantage on the hour mark.
Boyd made it 3-0 in 63rd minute before Huddlestone scored and Matty Fryatt and Koran scored late on to cap the rout.
